For years I’ve been ordering online.  It started when I had years of back pain that made even bending over to pick something up from the shelf impossible, and even though that pain disappeared with two hip replacements, I find the advantages of online groceries outweigh the fact of mushy bananas and a broken egg or two.  

But I took a powerful dislike to the delivery boy and decided to visit the supermarket myself.  It was like visiting the kitchen of a favorite restaurant and discovering rats.  or maybe rat parts.  Not that it was dirty – but that it was incredibly boring.
