a confession. I have to admit I know what is going on in the West Bank, how settlers are harrassing the local population, and how soldiers are looking the other way. I also know that a change in government will not solve the problem. There has to be an openness in the media and in education that helps us to remember our ethics, our values, as well as the need for security.

who right now are asking for support for the Arab doctors in Rambam hospital in Haifa. One of them was accused of not helping an injured soldier. I don’t even know the details but I know how I have been treated in hospitals here – very often by Arab doctors who actually exhibit the very ethics of which I want to remind some people in the West Bank.
