just a footnote to the last note.  The two lines are given in Genesis 4:17–22 and Genesis 5. So what they say is that Noah’s children unite Seth’s and Cain’s descendants. The identification of Naamah as Noah’s wife is not Rabbinically unanimous, but it’s kind of strange that Cain gets exiled in the first part, and then gets to be a part of those who are saved.

You know ty hat I have no pretensions of being a biblical scholar, but I  am operating at the moment from within a religious community and so feel the urge to pay attention in my own way.

The groom in this wedding, my great-nephew, is a nurse, dedicated to helping people. and his bride is also a nurse.  I find this very admirable.  A new beginning in a new direction.  Like coming out of the aex determined to build a better world.
