our travelling in the past few weeks has been enormous – from culture to culture, from city to city, from life-style to life style. and all jewish.  so many different kinds of Jews, Jewish life, jewish styles, and all part of me.  the gamut of religions, politics, intimacy, love, distances.  tonight is the wedding that should unite most of it, but I fear I’ll never be able to summarize, to contain, the variety.
