after a rocket Night - 3.23.26

Getting back to sleep after a rocket attack is never easy, and it doesn’t do much good to make sure everyone is okay and watch the news.

There simply is no end in sight, and we’re in the middle.

  1. Maybe a stupid question…but, has anyone ever arranged a rotating schedule for the use of high quality military earplugs? I ask because sleep deprivation seems so terrible right now.

    1. Lorraine dear, I have to listen very closely to the sirens, because if they are in my area I have to run for shelter immediately. I’d rather wake up to the terrible noise than sleep through it and get a piece of shrapnel in my neck! On the other hand, I do listen to music whenever I can. There are pieces I would never listen to now because if a siren interfered it would ruin the music forever. And in general I don’t believe in earplugs. I need to know what’s happening all the time.
