Karen Alkalay-Gut, professor emeritus at Tel Aviv University, has published numerous works of poetry, biography, and literary criticism.  Her stories have appeared in journals and her work has been translated to over a dozen languages.  She writes lyrics for a rock group, Panic Ensemble, and her “Tel Aviv Diary” appears daily on https://www.karenalkalay-gut.com/diary. Recent publications in January of 2017 include one book of poetry in Hebrew whose title may be translated as “Ways to Love” (Keshev) and one in English entitled “Hanging Around the House” (Simple Conundrums).  She chairs the Israel Association of Writers in English
