who won today?  Trump.  Maybe Hamas will win if they agree and get some more agreements about rebuilding.  Israel – whether Gaza accepts the deal or not.  And maybe the rest of the middle east.  

How are we reacting?  We don’t know anything yet.  If the hostages return we’ll be dancing in the streets.  If travel becomes normalized, if the economy returns, if we are not awakened every night with alarms, if we can fill our shopping baskets – maybe we will burst into tears of relief, tears of hope.

It’s all ‘maybe’ so we’re holding our breath.

and we’re still left with thousands of physically wounded and hundreds of thousands of emotionally wounded.  

Thank goodness we have such amazingly resilient young people.
