When I see the way individuals are organizing together to complete the work the government has failed to handle, I have renewed hope for this country.  Identifying the dead, contacting families, making sure the army has provisions, keeping a semblance of order and social warmth.
Today, for instance, we got flu and pneumonia shots by a cheery nurse who made the experience so simple and painless, I could find nothing to complain about.  But when we came home, we got a notice that due to the security situation our appointment had been cancelled.
