I relay my sense of guilt to Benj.  My grandchildren are all somehow contributing to the war effort – building schools, working for the emergency health services, volunteering at rehabilitation centers – while I sit and write and drink coffee.  Benj’s reply: (I rephrase) They also serve who sit and sip.  

I found that comforting.  

Especially now when everyone’s hands have been tied.
