Today the last employee they will probably ever catch was convicted. She was only a camp secretary and probably couldn’t have done anything about saving my grandmother, but I still hold her responsible.
Justice was served here. Karen’s grandmother was my Great Aunt , my grandmother’s eldest sister. Though I never met her, I feel that I know her thru Karen and her brother Joe. They are the memory keepers of the family , they say her name and light her flame. Their children and grandchildren are living proof that Hitler did not snuff out all the Jewish people or their spirit.They have created the next generation to honor the memory of those lost in the Shoah.
