Tonight we left the protest when the fish I had for my birthday lunch swam back up my throat.

I knew I’d have a doctor ready if I really needed one because they were all at the demonstration.  Toast and tea and a generous dose of Maalox seemed to do the trick.

The 200000 people demonstrating tonight, though, gave me a sense of comfort – that there is a new generation of leaders that have been created by this incredible challenge to democracy, and there is hope.

And now our Minister of Defence is calling for a halt to the reform because of a clear and present danger to the security of the country.  We’ve seen a terrible rise in serious terrorist attacks (one tonight).  In fact, since Ben Gvir has been in charge of security we’ve had some really serious security issues, not just because he is incompetent but also because the government is doing everything to prevent dialogue and quiet in the area,  I cannot understand how they don’t see it.
