Thank you all for checking up on me. Even if I don’t answer I appreciate it.
I was talking with Haim Marantz in Beer Sheva before about his recent heart attacks when he suddenly interrupted our conversation with – “listen to the sirens” – and then he hung up. On tv I saw the city was being barraged with rockets, so I waited an hour and then called back – just to see if he had been bombed or had another heart attack from the rockets.
I had just been on the phone with my friend from Metula who was also complaining about the noise.
Let’s hope there’s no noise tonight.
I remind you – while we aim to hit the attackers, and avoid civilians whenever possible, someone out there is aiming for my friends and me. We’re all over 75 so it’s easier to catch us.
Dearest Karen,
I’m thinking of you…a fusion of different memories. … I hope you and your family will be safe. Am Israel Chai! …Swords into plowshares../ Much love…
Rochelle
Thanks so much, Dear Rochelle. We’re being barraged with rockets so I have to make it brief.Love, karen
