So very proud of my amazing and talented cousin Karen. She has made a long and storied career out of her love for poetry by writing over 30 books and teaching at the university level as well. She has even encouraged me in my quest to write some in my retirement. Her body of work is personal and from the depths of her soul and that truly shows. She is so hip and cool and has mentored so many. I wanted to recognize her efforts. You are always in my thoughts and forever in my heart. We are bonded through time and space by our deepest connection which is Family.
