how time flies. it's almost tomorrow and i haven't been able to get to write. But spent most of the day going back and forth to the garage with my PT, and in between that a quick visit to the pool that was long enough for a sunburn, and then on to Papa's for my current favorite - spinach pizza.

Where was I? While hundreds of protesters were demonstrating in Tel Aviv (a href="http://www.haaretz.com/news/national/hundreds-of-social-protesters-crash-tel-aviv-s-white-night-festival.premium-1.444756">here, I was in the late night clinic with Orit, being impressed by a female gynecologist, who with a straight face, evaporated all our fears with irony and humor.

It made me think that maybe the studies they have been doing on ppds, post-partum depression syndrome could be skewed by the bad attitude most doctors have to their patients.

Same is true of the demonstrations. Bad attitude makes for bad reactions to the bad attitude.

Restaurants that cater to families may be the cause of my early deafness. Last night we were at Zozobra without kids but everyone else had screaming children, even at 10 when we left. Today we visited "Moses" that seems to have a bit better sound cancelling system and didn't hear as much as we saw. The food, especially on weekends, can be no better than okay. Better to eat out during the week.

My email disappeared today. if you wrote me today I may well not have gotten it, and if i owe you a letter, you may never get a reply.... Ezi managed to download a program that returns most of it, but who knows...

Hard days around here. My whole existence revolves around getting to appointments on time, keeping the fridge filled up, playing music for Omer, and keep the fire under the computer going. As the agronomist/poet Rachel said, "My world is as narrow as the world of the ant." I barely got to read the paper this morning (and am amazed at how the day was so much brighter), didn't participate in any demonstrations - not even the one last night, and didn't even watch the news. online papers don't do it for me for some reason. they don't say enough and assume you can go somewhere else for the background information. At least the local papers.
