THE
STARS IN THE SKY
The
stars hang in the sky
as
ever
The
stars smile in the sky
as
ever
The
stars wink in the sky
as
ever
But
I will never know if they
were
created forever.
NIGHT
The
night ignited its stars.
The
village dozed in its homes.
The
silence sounded a prayer.
The
orange-moon rose in the sky.
The
night is pure as a diamond.
The
village floats in a dream.
The
fields are wrapped in black
in
silence awaiting the light.
THE
BLADE OF THE PLOW
The
blade of the plow
the
moon
slices
through the earth of the night.
All
the furrows are like harp strings.
We
embraced the night.
We
caressed the darkness with fingers
of
silence.
WITH
DAWN
The
night bows down to the light.
The
dawn carries the crimson rocks on its back
of
pre-dawn.
The
time forgot itself
in
glances sailing to the dream
and
the sun stood on its sword.
DYING
A
whole man - now
except
for his breath
and
his heavy body
heavier
than its weight
motionless
His
body is heavy but has no use
When
the eyes produce no light
and
the mouth - no sound of speech
Life
now like a chaos of stuttering
